but first, let me share about my mystery stole 3 /swan lake. i have been very diligently knitting away; well, maybe not so diligently. i have been trying to decide whether to knit the shorter version or just follow the pattern. i am only 5'2" and don't want an overly large stole but then again don't want one that is too small. i finally decided to just follow the pattern; using beading banshee's version of clue 4 (which adds the border on the edge between the cat's paw and the wing). i am finally to the wing!!!!! and i messed up so i get to start the wing again. sigh!

Since I think of you as the knitter who designs and knits beautiful socks, I'm guessing your secret has something to do with that.

You have invented a really new knitting bag. This bag in the evening when you put your knitting away corrects all mistakes (except those that might be new design elements) it also will knit any parts you find dragging along, and to top it off it will knit a second sock to the same spot as the first sock.

Since I know you've done some BMFA sock patterns and they're coming out w/their Raven book soon, I'm going to guess that you have 1-2 patterns in their book.

ReplyDeleteAbout 9 years ago I had a terrible virus that kept me down for weeks. It finally dawned on me that I might not be sick but might indeed be pregnant. Yup. Eric is now 8.5 years old. Best virus I ever had. Guess we don't share the same secret.

Could it be that the fabulous RSC January package was one of your patterns...because I absolutely love it and so excited to start!
