"t" is for

...treat!

i have a copy of the cd/book, 50 socks/50 states, to give away to one lucky commenter. just leave me a comment on this post by wednesday, january 20th.

of course, it wouldn't hurt to tell me that "bling" is your mostest favoritest sock of the entire collection! **wink, wink** =D

we are having a kal for the sock cd/book over on the rav group, 50 socks book, . come join us! the designers will be around to help with questions and problems.

  2. Sure, I do like Bling :-) but I really really like the purple mountain socks. Long ago I visited the States and loved Colorado... and I happen to love mountains wherever they are.

  14. I have been wanting to get my hands on that book, alas... I don't think it is available here in Germany. What I have seen of the socks so far, looks fabulous, and so I am sure "bling" is just as wonderful.

  16. This sounds so interesting. I always have a pair of socks on the needles and just stocked up on more sock yarn. Someone told me that sock yarn does not count as stash so I keep a lot of it.

  33. i think that all of the soc patterns are beautiful, and i like the thought that has gone into them. I've kit a lot of beaded shawls, but never socks, s bling does call to me.

Socks are so interesting - and small enough to learn new skills- different heels and toes, toe up, cuff down! as well as adding techniques like lace, fairisle etc. I've only made a few pairs of socks, and always 2 at a time because I'm afraid I'll never finish the second one! I love all the different patterns and textures you can add to just a little pair of socks!

  46. I just went and looked, and "Bling" really is pretty! I like how the pattern (cable?) at the sides follows the gusset curve and sets off the lace panel so nicely.

  64. I really love the Snowflake (Wisconsin) design--it looks a lot like Norwegian stranded knitting, which is quite apropos considering the Norwegian heritage of the area where I grew up. Hope to view more of the patterns!
