Wow! Am I actually the first commenter? I love knitting socks, and think the idea of 50 socks for 50 states is great.
ReplyDeleteSure, I do like Bling :-) but I really really like the purple mountain socks. Long ago I visited the States and loved Colorado... and I happen to love mountains wherever they are.
ReplyDeleteI just found your blog thanks to Ravelry but am enjoying checking it out! :D
ReplyDeleteBling is certainly a -gorgeous- sock, I love the lacy back :)
How could I pass this up?! As I have two pair of socks otn and a pair of legwarmers going, and have you seen my sock queue?????????

ReplyDeleteThanks for offering!
I love knitting socks and Bling has just been added to my queue. I'm ready to tackle beads :)
ReplyDeleteWhile I think Bling is great...I love "Fly Away home"...
ReplyDeleteIt would be hard to choose a favorite sock among all these beautiful choices, but bling is among my favorites. (rav id oddlief)
ReplyDeleteLOL! You are spoiling people!
ReplyDeleteI have been wanting to get my hands on that book, alas... I don't think it is available here in Germany. What I have seen of the socks so far, looks fabulous, and so I am sure "bling" is just as wonderful.
ReplyDeletewow, had never heard of the book. very cool, would love to win it.
ReplyDeleteThis sounds so interesting. I always have a pair of socks on the needles and just stocked up on more sock yarn. Someone told me that sock yarn does not count as stash so I keep a lot of it.

I just found you thanks to ravelry. And of course Bling is my favourite! Contact me via a comment on my own blog.
ReplyDeleteBling is one of the patterns that jumped out at me. This book looks great. I hope there's a little bit of info about each area to go with the socks.

ReplyDeleteSuch a neat idea! Thank you for sharing. (jenknitsalot on Rav)
ReplyDeleteI love the idea of 50 socks for 50 states. But am even happier I followed the Ravelry link to your great page. I love your work.
ReplyDeleteSocks are so interesting - and small enough to learn new skills- different heels and toes, toe up, cuff down! as well as adding techniques like lace, fairisle etc. I've only made a few pairs of socks, and always 2 at a time because I'm afraid I'll never finish the second one! I love all the different patterns and textures you can add to just a little pair of socks!
ReplyDeleteI can be contacted at lianne.tanner@gmail.com
This is the best idea for a sock book I've ever seen. All those states! All those patterns! I'll wait to buy in hopes I'll be the lucky winner! christineandrod@cablemt.net
ReplyDeleteWow, what a great idea: 50 socks for 50 states! I really love it and hope that I win it :).

ReplyDeleteI just went and looked, and "Bling" really is pretty! I like how the pattern (cable?) at the sides follows the gusset curve and sets off the lace panel so nicely.
ReplyDeleteOoh. That book looks fascinating!
