Sure, I do like Bling :-) but I really really like the purple mountain socks. Long ago I visited the States and loved Colorado... and I happen to love mountains wherever they are.

I have been wanting to get my hands on that book, alas... I don't think it is available here in Germany. What I have seen of the socks so far, looks fabulous, and so I am sure "bling" is just as wonderful.

This sounds so interesting. I always have a pair of socks on the needles and just stocked up on more sock yarn. Someone told me that sock yarn does not count as stash so I keep a lot of it.

Socks are so interesting - and small enough to learn new skills- different heels and toes, toe up, cuff down! as well as adding techniques like lace, fairisle etc. I've only made a few pairs of socks, and always 2 at a time because I'm afraid I'll never finish the second one! I love all the different patterns and textures you can add to just a little pair of socks!
