i also like the creative living exhibit with its quilts, hand knits, crochet, & art competition. i have been entering things in the county fair competition for over 10 years now. it is fun to see what others are making. i love looking at the quilts; probably because i do not quilt...yet...but am amazed at the beauty of the finished products.
this year, i entered 4 items. i received TWO best of shows! how EXCITING is THAT?!

Well that is very exciting I must say. Food, ribbons, and seeing what everyone else made is always a grand time. Funnel cakes .....uuuummmmmm.

I entered a baby blanket in our county fair and won a first and a pair of last minute baby socks and won a 2d AND judge's favorite!
For some reason this year, I passed by the funnel cake - but made sure I got my cotton candy!!!!

I *love* our county fair, and yes, I do enter my knitted things. I've taken home one best of needlework for a 'russian' lace scarf I made for my sister.
